CITY Liberal Studies, Thessaloniki, was founded in 1989. It is a Higher Education academic institution and comes under the Laboratory of Liberal Studies Bill.

There are three Academic Departments, the Computer Science Department, the Business Administration & Economics Department, and the Psychology Department, and one Academic Division, namely, the Humanities Division. These Departments offer undergraduate (BSc and BA) and postgraduate courses (MSc, MBA, PhD. There are strong links between the departments of Computer Science and the Department of Business Administration & Economics, as well as, the Psychology Dept.

Research experience

The institution is involved in some EU projects (Esprit-DGIII, Information Society- DGXVI, Leonardo, TEMPUS, Euroform, Eureka, Human Capital Mobility), and recently IST. There are also on-going co-operations with local industrial and commercial companies, as well as, strong links with national and international associations like the Association of .IT companies of Northern Greece (SEPVE), Greek (EPY) and British Computer Societies, International Society of Logistics (SOLE), Internet Society and others.
